Every year, on the night of the Television Critic's Choice Awards, after I put my kids to bed but before I watch whatever TV I need to catch up on, I grab the one I won down from the shelf and reminisce about how I won Best Supporting Actress in a comedy for Cougartown. It was the first year of the awards and I was so genuinely shocked that I won that I had nothing prepared to say and all I could think was I needed to get off the stage as fast as I could (which was the first and last time I ever didn't want to be in front of people talking). Anyway, I realize that in the scheme of life, awards can seem pretty trivial BUT THAT BEING SAID, winning one was really f-ing awesome.
