So almost 4 years ago Michelle cashiered at a grocery store and Matt was an assistant. The hours were long, the pay was a fucking joke, and the work was garbage 😒🔫⚰ Whenever we’d get the same day off, we’d cook, take a photo, and toss it into the vacuum of the Internet with some shit talking sprinkled throughout the recipe. Then out of nowhere on @rachaelrayshow (she’s also straight outta the grocery store #respect), Gwyneth Paltrow mentions that she reads our shit 😳 Our lives changed. Real fucking quick. We landed a cookbook deal and pulled off writing 2 NYT Bestsellers back-to-back ✨📖 ✨We got faith in our abilities but recognize if it weren’t for Gwyneth’s low-key shout out, we’d still be struggling. There’s absolutely no way we could return the favor (we’ve still never met her) but we can sure as shit try to return some love 🙏❤️🙏 We picked up her new book and it’s gotta fuckton of plant-based options. Most of the recipes are quick and call for basic ingredients. And the photography is so dope that some of y’all are just gonna delete your whole Instagram outta jealousy. We cooked up her Cauliflower Tabbouleh but added a watermelon radish for looks.
