Ok. Full disclosure. When Birdie was little, I didn't know to take her to the dentist until a mom at the park was like "WHAT? She's 4 and hasn't been to the dentist yet?!" And then she had a bunch of cavities and it was really traumatic. So anyway, needless to say, my SECOND daughter has been going since her first tooth showed up. Which is why she's so chill while they clean her little teeth!

While in #Portadown today, The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall visited the family-owned Ulster Carpets. The manufacturing process of the carpets all takes place within the UK, and the firm is an important part of the local economy. The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall’s first joint engagement on the #RoyalVisitNI was spent touring the Yellow Door Deli in #Portadown. This thriving delicatessen and catering business is owned by the Dougan family, and strives to champion local produce. The Yellow Door Deli now has four outlets in Belfast and Lisburn. Their Royal Highnesses toured the deli and met local food and drink producers. 2016 marks the Northern Ireland Year of Food and Drink, and a number of TRH’s engagements today celebrate this.

This morning, on day two of the #RoyalVisitNI, The Prince of Wales toured the PORTICO Arts & Heritage Centre in Portaferry. The neoclassical centre has been heavily renovated after falling into disrepair. The beautiful building dates back to the 1840s and it is now used by many members of the local community. During the visit, The Prince was presented with a hurley and sliotar from members of Portaferry Gaelic Athletic Club.
