My friend @tarasubkoff wrote an open letter about the terrible deceit she experienced from #LynnHirshberg who acted as her friend and ultimately turned on her . Journalists used to do this kind of " two- faced " reporting as standard practice , but usually tabloid journo's NOT writers for respected publications like @wmag . I've had versions of this happen to me , but never to this degree . I have known Tara 22 years , through great times as well as seeing her survive a massive brain tumour . I visited her pre and post surgery and saw her head shaved and stapled shut , I saw the paralysis on one side of her face , I saw her lose her hearing , many friends and life as she knew it . I wanted to share her open letter because this kind of betrayal shouldn't be acceptable , not on a personal or professional level . It truly is a unique pain when women betray one another .
