Clarence House: "In the past year, my Trust has continued its efforts in four key areas – education, livelihoods, mental health, and anti-trafficking. These issues can throw up things that are uncomfortable and sometimes even taboo, so I am particularly proud that my Trust does not shy away from them and contributes, in its own way, to resolving some of the most difficult issues of our time." -- HRH The Prince of Wales, President of The British Asian Trust, speaking at tonight's annual dinner. #unlockpotential

Clarence House: This #CharityTuesday we’re highlighting the fantastic work of The British Asian Trust, who work tirelessly to empower disadvantaged people in South Asia. The Prince of Wales founded the charity back in 2007 after witnessing widespread poverty and hardship of families in the region. In 2013, Their Royal Highnesses had the opportunity to visit Katha School in Delhi, India, to see how The British Asian Trust is working hand in hand with the grassroots charity, Katha, to enhance the quality of education for thousands of slum and street children across New Delhi. #unlockpotential. © Press Association
