Clarence House: Congratulations to the young winners and runners up of The Queen’s Commonwealth Essay Competition! They received their prizes from The Duchess of Cornwall at #BuckinghamPalace this morning. The Queen’s Commonwealth Essay Competition was founded in 1883 and is the world’s oldest international schools’ writing contest. More than 13,000 entries were received from 49 Commonwealth countries and territories, from the UK all the way to Tristan da Cunha (5,592 miles away)!
