Clarence House: During The Duchess's visit to Manchester today, HRH spent time at the new Maggie’s cancer support centre and toured its beautifully designed garden and building. The Duchess, as President of Maggie's, also officially opened the new centre! Every year, 50,000 people in the North West are diagnosed with cancer and, as the number of people living with cancer increases, support becomes even more important. The Duchess learned more about the support Maggie’s offers, which includes psychological support, nutrition workshops, relaxation and art therapy.
